How We’ll Work Together
Week 4 - Complex Sleep Cases
Real support means handling the messy stuff: reflux, feeding struggles, colic, separation anxiety, illness, new siblings, travel disruptions — you name it.
You’ll learn how to troubleshoot, adapt, and support families dealing with actual challenges.
Week 6 - Adding To Your Doula Practice
Turn knowledge into income and impact. Build personalized sleep support plans, structure your offers, and integrate sleep coaching into your doula services.
You’ll also learn simple marketing language that positions you as a trusted resource — not another “sleep trainer” forcing systems that don’t align with responsive care values.
Week 1- The Science of Sleep
This week sets the foundation. You’ll understand how infant sleep actually works — biologically, neurologically, and developmentally — from birth through age five.
We’ll also break down how attachment influences sleep and why “independent sleep training” isn’t the only route. You’ll learn how responsive care builds secure sleep patterns without sacrificing connection or sanity.
Week 2 - Soothing + Temperment
You’ll master calm-forward soothing skills that work for real humans, not imaginary textbook babies.
Then, decode temperament. Because a sensitive, fiery kid isn’t “broken” - they just need strategies tailored to their wiring, not cookie-cutter advice that fails in the real world.
Week 3 - Routines, Rhythms + Disruptions
Learn how to build sleep routines for your clients that flex with their lives. And exactly what to do during nap transitions, sleep regressions, teething hell, and cognitive leaps, so you can guide families through chaotic phases without panic or guesswork.
Week 5 - Communication + Boundaries
Talking sleep is a minefield. Parents are exhausted, emotional, and overwhelmed. You’ll learn to communicate clearly, confidently, and compassionately — without judgment, pressure, or “sleep policing.” Stand firm on evidence, protect your boundaries, and still make parents feel seen, supported, and empowered.
