Postpartum Care

Is a postpartum doula right for you?

Postpartum is a wild, incredible, humbling, beautiful and sometimes difficult journey. If you’re anything like I was, it’s more than you could’ve ever imagined yet somehow less at the same time.

Despite what our society says, you need this time to rest and heal.

Investing in postpartum support isn’t just about getting help—it’s about giving yourself the care and reassurance you deserve. A doula provides guidance, emotional support, and hands-on help so you can recover, bond with your baby, and build confidence in your new role. The early days are fleeting, but the confidence and peace of mind you gain will stay with you for years to come.

Because who will mother the mother?

As your postpartum doula, I show up for you in a way that is gentle yet encouraging all while giving you the personal touch you need to feel secure and confident.

I commit to as many visits as you need as you grow into your role as a mother and as parents. I celebrate alongside you as you learn to trust your intuition as well as your baby's innate capabilities.

This is a time to slow down, surround yourself with compassionate support so that you can focus on falling in love with your new baby, your new self, your new family and your new life.

Daytime Support

I offer a Flexible Plan which you can schedule and pay as you go. I require a 12-hour retainer fee of $540 due at contract signing; remainder of the fee is to be paid at the end of each week as hours are worked.

Typical Support Hours Available:
Monday - Thursday:
9 - 12pm, 1 - 4pm & 5 - 8pm
{custom hours available}

$45/hour, Each visit = 3-hour minimum

What is included?

* Prenatal / Planning Visit - We will talk about your hopes, the type of support you want, and how long you would like care. We will tour your home and nursery to set up practical spaces for feeding, changing, and resting. We will also cover infant feeding basics, including how to prepare for a positive start with breastfeeding if that is important to you. Every visit is tailored to your family’s needs, so you feel confident, supported, and ready for life with your new baby.

* Information & Local Resources - When you book postpartum doula support, you will receive a "Welcome Package" that outlines what to expect and how we will work together to create a personalized plan for your family. You will also receive a set of helpful guides, including: Helpful Hints About Postpartum Life with tips for physical and emotional recovery, Babywearing Benefits & Basics for safe and comfortable babywearing, Snack Ideas & Recipes for Postpartum Mamas with easy, nourishing meals, Infant Feeding Basics & Helpful Information to support breastfeeding, pumping, formula, and combination feeding, and a Newborn Sleep Guide with gentle strategies for establishing healthy sleep rhythms during the first three months. These resources are designed to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you settle into life with your new baby.

* In-home, Hands-on Help - I will "show up" for your family in a compassionate, understanding and non-judgemental manner while recognizing your unique parenting style and choices.
My priority will always be maternal well-being.

* Breastfeeding Support - I will provide ongoing breastfeeding education & support to ensure that your baby is latching successfully and that you have a variety of comfy nursing positions. "A fed baby is best" so together, we will make sure you are feeling confident whether you are breastfeeding, pumping, and/or bottle feeding.

* Rest & Recovery - I look forward to checking in with you upon arriving to assess how you’re feeling. Your needs will determine my priorities for each visit.

* Custom Visit - I like to ensure there is enough time at each visit for me to meet your unique needs. I hope to observe / help with your baby’s feed, then for you to have a shower if desired, something healthy to eat and a chance to get some much needed sleep.

* If it is helpful for you, my services may also include:

Sibling care, meal prep, grocery shopping, running errands, pet care,
light housekeeping such as infant laundry, tidying & organizing, accompanying you at appointments, and (almost) anything that lessens your stress and brings more peace to your life.
